‘Dexter: The ‘Original Sin’ Series: Release Date, Cast, Plot, and Synopsis

VOLKPOP.co - The cast of the new prequel series, now titled Dexter: Original Sin, have been announced, including the new face of Dexter Morgan. Christian Slater, Patrick Gibson, and Molly Brown (above) have been cast as the series' leads.

According to the official plot summary, the prequel follows Dexter ‘as he transitions from a student to a serial killer’. The teenager must learn how to ‘channel his inner darkness’ with the guidance of his father, while creating codes designed to help him track down people who deserve to be removed from society.

The series Dexter: Original Sin will take viewers back to 1991 in Miami to show the origins of serial killer Dexter Morgan. Ten episodes have already been ordered.
